AGBANK'S MAIN DIRECTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT FOR 2007-2008

  1. Preparation and ratification of the bank's strategy plan for 2008-2010
  2. Preparation based on the ratified for 2008-2010 strategy plan of operational plans, balance forecasts and budget for 2008
  3. Application of the pilot program on rendering consulting services proposed by IFC with the view of enforcement of full transition to Corporate Governance principles.
  4. Extension of the cooperation with Azerbaijan bank training centre in the view of professional development of the employees along with participation in the seminars, based on the ratified program.
  5. Increase of the investment fund to 12 million manats in the future.
  6. Collaboration with International Financial Institutions:
    - definition of the future development strategy related with the transition to the new level of cooperation with IFC;
    - operations with IFC within the finance leasing development program;
    - extension of the discussions with EBRD about opening of the new credit lines for SME financing;
    - development of the cooperation with EBRD on rendering consulting services in the future, and also on EBRD's acting as a guarantor in various bank projects.
    - The continuation of collaboration with the KfW Fund on the matters concerning small and middle business areas and crediting,
    - The development of partnership with KfW on the matters of small and middle entrepreneurship as well as consulting services related with the improvement of information technologies,
    - Enlargement of partnership relations with Asian Development Bank and opening of the new credit lines,
    - The development of partnership relations with Islamic Development Bank in the future.
  7. Provide qualified growth of client base attracting and placement of deposits. Bringing the level of termed deposits up to 78 million manats.
  8. The most optimal placement of obtained capital:
    - extension of the lending portfolio by financing various projects of the small middle and large enterprises and bringing the level of lending portfolio up to 89 million manats.
    - continuation of diversification policy of the bank lending in the future.
    - the most optimal placement of assesses on the correspondent accounts and optimal realization of the state securities in the view of providing the maximal profit from residue.
  9. Plastic cards business development and optimal management of all similar products that belongs to the bank. Increase of the number of ATMs and POS terminals and their location in the most attractive areas of the City.
  10. Extension of the branch network of the bank; opening the "Yevlakh", "Guba", "Lankaran" branches. Improvement of the existent branches' activity in the future.
  11. Distribute higher profits to the shareholders; to receive maximal profit which will be sufficient to increase capital quality.
