JOINT HOLIDAY ACTION OF
"AZERIGAZBANK" AND McDonald's
ON THE 1ST OF JUNE 2002 there will be held first
joint holiday action of "AZERIGAZBANK" and McDonald's.
Both organizations take active part in children charity. But today
this action has most important meaning ever. Today, on international
children's day, when all mankind's attention is riveted on the problem
of protection of children's right and security of childhood, we
have a chance to remind the society that the problem of violation
of children's rights does exist, that not all the children are happy
and that every respectable member of this society must do his/her
best for liquidation of this injustice.
Possibilities of the companies' are limited, but nevertheless the
management of the companies was firm in their desire to organize
holiday for 300 orphan and disabled children. For some of them this
festive event will be held in the restaurant, the others, namely,
disabled children of the orphans' house in Sarai, the holiday will
visit itself.
Plans include personal participation of the management in the action,
i.e. work in the kitchen, on service, with children. 150 children
from the orphanages will be taken to the restaurant where they will
be offered children's menu consisting of tasty sandwich, drink,
fried potatoes, and, the main thing - a toy.
For guest action for 150 children from Sarai orphanage, representatives
of Azerigazbank and McDonald's will bring provision and toys, flags
and balloons.
We sincerely believe that children will remember the joy and pleasure
of that day, and for all of us this will be a reminder that there
are many children that are sad and unhappy. It's time to act!
